road trip!

I took a fun excursion yesterday with the "scrap posse", we had an early morning rendez-vous and four of us piled into one vehicle and hit the road for Alred, a charming little village east of Ottawa.

What was the attraction? An all day workshop at Scrap en Masse, creating the most beautiful cards and mailbox using the Graphic 45 Christmas papers. The morning session had an odd hiccup, someone attending who was really not happy and seemed to want to spread around bad karma had most of us a little distracted...but 9 of the class of 10 were there for fun and in the end we found it anyway. (bad karma lady left after the morning class, but she managed to sideswipe one of the posse's car on her way out of Dodge, and wouldn't ya know it, she hit the Mercedes!)

Hats off to Josee for the beautiful designs, and for dealing so gracefully with a real tough nut! (and I do mean nut!) Josee has such a charming shoppe in a lovely little cottage on the main street, her studio is one the second floor, flooded with sunlight.
